Wearing an unpadded bra, wrap a measuring tape around the top of your ribcage. You’re looking for a snug fit - so we recommend tightening on the exhale and noting the smallest measurement to the decimal.
Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, making sure the measuring tape is paralell to the floor. Relax your shoulders and measure where it falls.

I bought this recovery bra years ago and LOVED it, and wore it long after recovery. I bought two more recently, and while they are still (unbelievably) soft and comfortable, I am having terrible problems with the hooks. The fabric underneath the hooks is so stiff that you can't hook the next one without the first one popping. And they also come undone during the day!

I am very happy I bought the Knix recovery bra. After my breast reduction, the bra I started with, irritated my skin. So then I bought another kind, which irritated, and then another one, still had the irritation. I read the reviews for Knix and almost did not consider looking into, but happen to be in the mall which had a Knix store. I went in and the sales people were very wonderful. They showed me the recovery bra, and I knew by the feel that I would be extremely happy. I tried it on over my clothes as I still have the surgery tape, and it fitted perfectly. On paper I should be 3x, but I tried on the 2x and it was perfect.
At home I put the bra on against my skin, and I have yet to take it off - 3 days morning and night. Not one complaint . There is no irritation, it does not pull on the surgery tape, it does not gather between my rib cage and my breasts, the cups are very gentle on my nipples and it feels pillowy soft. Yes it does not have as much compression as others, but when you are 2 weeks out, comfort is what I needed and with the Knix recovery bra, comfort is what I got.
I am now not dreading the next 4 months of recovery.

I had breast surgery 3 weeks ago. I was hoping this bra would help replace the surgical bra. First one was too big. Knix sent a smaller size.
It just wasn’t enough support itt could just because of my surgery. But I have a lot of Knix bras and I love them. I’ll donate these to the breast center.

I bought this in preparation for a sternotomy for a cardiac surgery and it was an amazing product. Nurses at the hospital even took note for their patient. I still wear it for sleeping as it helps with scar healing to limit breast movement. This product made my recovery smoother - im a massive fan.
