I basically am always in a bathing suit and I only wear period panties now so for years I had to find period panties that passed for bathing suit bottoms. Your bathing suits are not leakproof. I am at the beach with my 11 year old and she was so excited to be covered by knic, loves her suit and was ready. She came out of the ocean visibly leaking down her leg. She is so embarrassed and had to leave the beach to get situated. So disappointed since I've already purchased at least 3 for the summer.
