Fabrics That Will Make You Feel Comfy-Cozy All Winter Long

Picture this: the wind is howling at your window. Outside, a thick snowfall paints the sidewalk with ghastly white layers that you will, inevitably, have to shovel. The temperature? It’s glacial, piercing, and — this should go without saying — subzero.

If you live in, say, Florida, you might mistake this for a sight somewhere deep in Siberia. But if you call the North-Eastern US or just about anywhere in Canada home, there’s a name for this miserable scene: it’s called January. And, if we’re being honest, February, too.

Wherever you live, we’re pretty sure the desire to feel snug as a bug (in a rug) during the winter season is universal. By filling your wardrobe and home with soft, snuggly fabrics and textures, you can make those cozy winter dreams come true. And, as always, we’re here to help!

Waffled Knit

As seen on the radiant Jenna Dewan, our Waffle Robe (pictured above in the Rose Quartz shade) will thaw your hardened winter soul and transport you to a hotel spa. Not only will you feel instantly glamorous, but the breathable waffle fabric will keep you warm, yet airy.

Flannel

Flannel-lovers, this is your time to shine! Bring those flannel button-downs to the front of your closet, adorn your couch with a flannel throw, wrap yourself in a flannel scarf, and — despite what the haters may say — remember there’s no such thing as too much flannel.

Flannel’s very pattern — those colorful, interwoven squares — encapsulates the essence of winter, but it’s also a hyper-breathable and moisture-wicking fabric (for those days of snow-shoveling). Most importantly, it’s exceptionally soft and warm. 10/10 cozy vibes.

Cashmere

This ultra-supple brand of wool may cost you, but if you have some scratch to spare, it’s totally worth it. For one, it’s impossible to wrinkle and luxuriously soft, giving it an elegant and timeless appeal.

Defying the laws of nature, cashmere is, at once, extremely insulating and also somehow lightweight. When it comes to this investment fabric, the list goes on.

Cozzzy

Speaking of cozy vibes...our Cozzzy Collection is the pinnacle of bundled-up, holiday-chic. The dreamy set comes with a relaxed-fitting sweater, pants, and cardigan — in matching colors and made with the same fuzzy fabric. You might just not take it off until the first signs of spring.

Corduroy

Oh, hey, the 90s called and they want their corduroys back. Just kidding, corduroys are eternal. Infuse a little retro flair into your wardrobe with this winter-friendly fabric.

Since it’s usually made out of a cotton blend, you can count on those corduroy pants or sweater being — yep, you guessed it — comfortable and breathable. Whether you’re dressing it up or down, corduroy has the versatility to take you from work meeting to movie marathon.
