Our community is the backbone of Knix. Our entire brand is a celebration of people, and this month is no different.

All February long, we’ll be sharing stories of motherhood, wellness and self-love by Black creators in our community, right here on The Lift. Check back throughout the month to read about ambassador and mom Dianne Allman’s approach to teaching tolerance to her kids, Chrissy King’s mission of equality in the wellness industry, and Miriam Washington’s experience with menstruation and her disability.

Looking to get a head start reading about the amazing people in our community? Here are some of our favorite features:

Doula Cat Francis on the importance of Black birth workers

Our interview with For the Breast of Us, a community based collective of education and resources for POC affected by breast cancer

Educator and activist Dominique Drakeford talks to Knix about redefining sustainability and decolonizing environmentalism

You can also learn about small-businesses run by Black women in our community like Love & Nudes, NOMI + SIBS, Tish Jewelry and Just Kweenin

Besides our amazing community, we’re also celebrating the artists that inspire us. Kicking off Black History Month is a feel good playlist from Team Knix member Nezariel. Featuring recent releases by Black musicians and a mix of up and coming artists to keep on your radar, we hope you join us by hitting play all month long!
