Here’s What Went Down at the Toronto and LA Editions of Confidence Tour

Confidence is contagious — and we can prove it.

Last month, we put out our biggest casting call ever. Born out of the inspiration we felt after thousands applied to our Swim 2022 casting call, Confidence Tour is an opportunity for us to share the confidence-inducing supermodel experience with as many people as possible. Our philosophy, after all, is that anyone can be a supermodel.

We invited 40 customers and their besties to take part in a transformative experience that promised community empowerment, support, and pure love. Folks of all shapes, sizes, and walks of life showed up in droves with their besties, lovers, and even their adorable babies to rock the catwalk in their undies. The love in the room was overwhelming — we thought our hearts might actually burst.

Still, not everyone could be there in person to participate. That’s why we were your eyes and ears at the event. Now we’re ready to spill the tea on everything that went down at the Toronto and LA editions of Confidence Tour.

Our Heart Strings Were Tugged

A beaming — and very pregnant — Sarain Fox got everyone at the Toronto event pumped up for the catwalk. Confidence, she told attendees, exists inside all of us. Some days it’s a small flicker and other days it’s a giant flame. Confidence Tour is about igniting that fire and letting it shine for everyone to see.

Of course, Knix’s fierce founder and Confidence Tour visionary, Joanna Griffiths, had some inspirational words to offer. If you feel nervous at any point, she told the crowd, think of the love and respect you have for everyone in this room — and how it’s being radiated right back at you.

In LA, artist and poet Arielle Estoria brought out all the feels and sprinkled some magic with her spoken word poetry about the magic that lives inside of all of us.

Everyone Looked (Seriously) Amazing

Upon arrival, everyone was greeted with a Knix goodie bag — including fitted undergarments to rock on the runway. Attendees also got to shop the racks to find their perfect fit before slipping into a Waffle Robe and sipping a glass of bubbly in the makeup chair.

You’d think it would be daunting to be underwear clad in a room full of new people, but any apprehension melted away as strangers became fast friends and embraced the liberating feeling of baring it all. In the wise words of Sarah Landry, “That ‘nightmare’ we all had about standing in front of a crowd in your underwear? Turns out it can be a dream come true.”

LA co-host and Knix Global Brand Ambassador, Ashley Graham, stunned in a black LuxeLift Slip and chic up-do. We love an underwear as outerwear moment.

Folks leaned into their innate beauty and confidence — and Toronto hosts Sarain, Sarah, and Joanna were no exception. Sarain stunned in a sleek black Revolution Bra and Core Love Underwear beneath a sheer Lesley Hampton design with round bursts of pink.

Sarah Landry looked fabulous in a wet, slicked back look featuring a sparkly mesh dress overtop her Revolution Bra and Bikini Underwear, while Joanna rocked a fitted gauzy black dress with a peekaboo of black Revolution Bra and High Rise Underwear. It wasn’t long, however, before the robes and wispy dresses came off in time to hit the runway.

Folks Strut Their Stuff

The catwalk vibes were immaculate. Everyone rallied around the runway to cheer each other on as attendees made their modeling debuts with their guests in tow. There was cheering, clapping, and lots of happy tears.

Lovers introduced their girlfriends to effusive cheers, daughters introduced their mom on her 60th birthday and prowled the catwalk together, and a new mother even walked the runway while breastfeeding. It was truly iconic.

Everyone got to soak up their moment in the spotlight and share their self-love journey. It was a true celebration of every kind of body — cartwheels and all.

So Many Pictures Were Snapped

Pics or it didn’t happen? Well, that shouldn’t be a problem here. Confidence Tour attendees got to put their confidence on full display at the 360-degree photo booth and at our on-site studio with fab photographers Briony and Bettina Bogar

We believe a single experience can be life changing, and it helps to have a picture to cherish. Our mission was to remind our community they are enough by curating an experience that allowed them to be truly unapologetically free.

We’d say it was a mission accomplished. Where should Confidence Tour head to next?
