When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, we knew we wanted to help in any way we could. In March, we launched a GoFundMe to supply and distribute Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to healthcare facilities across North America. The campaign took on a life of its own— with contributions reaching more than $700,000.
While sourcing these products, we learned so much about how face masks are made, evaluated and certified. We realized one thing— after years of making products like Leakproof Underwear that are impermeable to liquids, there was no reason we couldn’t repurpose our technology to make face masks. And not just any face mask.
Introducing Knix’s Fresh Fix Air Face Mask— a super lightweight mask that is 99.9% Bacterial Filtration Efficient (BFE) and made in Canada.
How it Works
With Triple Layer Protection, our new reusable face masks harness our longtime expertise with hygienic fabric technology.
We’ve been able to create a liquid and aerosol particle repellent mask that is super breathable, lightweight and comfortable— all while having a 99.9% BFE. They also passed ASTM Level 3 Testing (which is the same testing for surgical masks)!
How They Fit
If it’s made by Knix, you know it’s going to be comfortable. The Fresh Fix Air Face Mask is no different. With soft-touch elastic bands for your ears, they’re fully adjustable so you’re able to create your own comfortable and secure fit depending on head size.
How To Sanitize
Easily washed, you can sanitize your Face Mask in a few ways. It’s your call. Here are some that we recommend:
- Machine wash at 60°C with detergent
- Place in boiling water
- Place under UV Light
